This is popular view among some, but it’s not true - as is clearly the case by the most wealthy nations.
But - u have a point - democracy has failed many times after it is changed by corrupt people using corrupt (fiat) money. Is the problem the democracy or the control of the printing press for money?
Anyone put in the current system we call democracy today will be corrupted - however so slightly. Those not corrupted leave the system eventually knowing they can’t change it. Ron Paul may be the oldest in this camp.
He started a school, but any private enterprise competing with Government education has to fight unlimited money printing. If people understood who the real bad guys were they would push back.
