Yup, that's the type of fodder system I'm looking to build. If they are willing to let me know if they would do it again, that's one of my biggest questions. I know it's a big time commitment but with the cost of hay and diesel I don't think it's going to go down for a while. Plus my hypothesis is that the livestock will be gentler and have a lighter impact on my existing pastures if they are getting enough from the fodder.
