I can totally see it happening, partially because rurally it's already happening. People are moving around, looking for that lifestyle... partially because the ai world is going to turn everything online on its head eventually... and partially because mental health & all that. Probably a dozen other reasons too. I doubt it will ever completely die but I could see relevance being greatly reduced, maybe even in the next decade or 2.
do you think social media is potentially a fad? is it generally declining? will it be considered a fad? a mistake?
i remember when it was almost impossible to imagine a 'facebook killer', now I can very easily imagine people turning away completely from social media in the future.
