Keep in mind that debt is someone else’s asset. What happens when they want to sell that debt yielding ~5% for something with a 70% CAGR? 🤔 Bhatia got this so wrong on TFTC. nostr:note1j8d9zxysvsc5kqg7mzdec3gwsfvvgmzzc3u63enkeqnyh23rc7usct9qlw

Bathia is a smart guy with a too big to fail ego

Yes, very smart. He still has some vestigial Keynesianism to shed, which you can see periodically. Phrases like “stimulate the economy.” But in this case, his experience on the bond desk gives him a kind of appeal to authority bias that causes him to miss the big picture, that is: people will absolutely start selling their real estate, bonds/debt, and equities for Bitcoin.

First instinct is to agree but being here for too long and having quite a lot of grinding and plebs observing years in my backpack I must say it is wishful thinking. People are so dumb it’s horrific.

😂 I feel you

Also, stupidity affords no insulation. An intransigent minority is sufficient to trigger the endgame.

Here are you saying Bhatia is dumb or people in general are too dumb to sell the real estate, equities, and bonds for Bitcoin?

People are too dumb to figure that out
