I gues this is all about short vs long time preference. Curently short time preferencw has the priority. And maybe it is fine for some interactions.

At the same time I also noticed myself that very often I would like to preserve some notes or complete conversations, give myself time to think and come back to them and that is not easy. I agree that it would be great to make it possible to preserve some of the content you see here for longer. This could possibly be another measure to take to indicate value of quality notes or interactions.
