The best years!

The 40s, 50s and 60s are the best years. In most cases, the children (if you have them) are not so young anymore, you have some financial security, you can devote more time to yourself, you more or less know what you want, you have more free time and different priorities.

The bad news is that in your 20s and 30s you neglected and abused your mind, body and spirit, so now you can't enjoy this wonderful period because everything hurts, you have health problems and you generally don't feel well.

The good news is that we are perfect machines and that lost health can be regained relatively quickly. All you need is will, a clear goal, a big enough why (I want to play with my children/grandchildren, I want to do sports, I want to feel and look better, I want nothing to hurt...)

Unfortunately, most people at that age accept this poor psychophysical state as a consequence of age, which is actually funny because I repeat: these are the best years.

Remember: the state you are in is a consequence of your relationship with yourself, not your age.

The body is a perfect machine, but it also has a good memory. And it only adapts to what you expose it to for most of your life.

And no, it is not normal to be 20 or more kilograms overweight, in pain and addicted to pills and opiates, not to mention other things.

Most people who do triathlons (a brutal sport and a test of physical and mental strength) are 40+ years old, which clearly indicates that these are the years when you should be in excellent physical and mental health.

I hope this text will encourage you a little, encourage you to think and get out of your comfort zone.

No matter what state you are in, it is never too late. The only question is whether you sincerely want to do it or if it is easier to make excuses.
