TLDR: Lightning addresses are just pretty ways to create an LNURL invoice. LNURL essentially contacts the Lightning node and says hey I need you to create an invoice for XXX amount and send it to me to pay it. It does this with really long and ugly invoice addresses. Lightning addresses makes it pretty and all the ugly is hidden on the backend.

Thanks Derek. I'm certainly not as savvy with my words! Appreciate the better explanation.
Muun is just long lightning address or QR. The LNURL address is a funky http nice way for us normies who aren't techy to be able to send and receive in a way we're used to. WoS & Bluewallet do it as does Alby and others like Coincorner exchange. It'll become standard I hope
you can gen LNURL with BlueWallet?
having tech issues with WoS atm…
Yeah I can send to LNURL addresses from blue
ahhh, but it probs doesn’t have a LNURL receive option?
i want to add LN tips in here
My blue wallet has my alby lnurl wallet as a receive
Am i misunderstanding? Highly likely 😂
idk at this point either! 🤷
i’ll work it out (eventually)
My Alby lnurl wallet is through bluewallet so can send and receive lnurl payments
So I guess it's alby which is the lnurl and blue wallet is linked but is not actually a bluewallet lnurl address i.e. not bitcoinsandy@bluewallet.com
bitcoinsandy@bluewallet would be a "Lightning address" Which is like an email address for your lnurl (which is an ugly, longform version). There was a post or graphic posted a few days ago that described this better, but it was nice to help with confusion of the words we use.
I am always available to confuse 😂
