No way to cancel PayPal. Zero pending transactions but says otherwise when I try to close it 🫠

Weird. I will be doing it soon. I haven't actively used it in years.
I closed mine last year. I had to cancel any recurring charges, wait a few days, then disconnect any cards attached and wait another few days, before the option was available. Then I had to request it, explain why, and request data be sent to me & deleted. The while thing took probably 3 weeks.
