Whole Wheat Bread

No Knead

Recipe:

4 cups Whole Wheat Flour

2 teaspoons yeast

2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons sugar

2.5 cups warm water

Mix…..Let rise in a warm place.

Preheat oven to 450 with a Dutch oven inside.

Bake for 30 minutes with the lid on.

Bake for 7-10 minutes with the lid off.

I do it on parchment paper.

Idk if it’s good, but it looks like bread and you literally touch things for 5 minutes. Costs less than $2 a loaf.

I let it rise till it’s more than doubled

Typically in my microwave with the light on, it’s above the stove.

Ok check, I set it on a hot water bottle for about 90 mins. Looks to be about twice the size. Now in the oven

I love baking, it was my first time making whole wheat bread.

I love it with white bread too but trying to eat the whole wheat.

Turned out great! I only forgot to grease the tray, so it stuck. Had to scrape it off,but it just made it more 'rustic'. Already looking forward to a 2nd attempt.

I put a tad on the parchment paper and a bit on top to give some nice color
