What an amazing idea a block time based auction is! I love the fact no auction bot or bid sniper is able to grap the deal in the last second by just zapping 1 Sat higher then the second highest #zap

This small change in the rules is reinvent the spirit of an auction. Rather than the typical 3, 2, 1... eBay Fiat rush, on #Nostr you can have up to 10 minutes the excitement of uncertainty so many online auction shoppers do enjoy 👍

Once, on an other account, I was playing some kind of evil character that would release sensitive informed at X blockheight.

Many people were waiting and no one, not even me, knew when the info would be released. Amazing experiences.

Indeed, any block time based auction, content release, announcement, probably many more interesting use cases could take advantage of this experience.

I suppose, it needs to be done manually, at least until a proper #nostr feature is available:

1st figure out the time in hours and minutes the defined block was created, use https://timechaincalendar.com

2nd go through all the comments on your note where you announced the auction.

The nostrich with the highest zap at the block time is the winner.

Maybe nostr:npub1v0tfjv5ahr3c260jtzdk5w48krerrnkg8fmcnc5lpguk0qda04eqzm3m3e has a plan to figure it out more efficiently?

Tricky, if someone is zapping to late, but higher, could end up in a big disappointment?
