You get a separate ‘upload button’ when signed in just for your private folder.
You can still use the normal one for free, View All uploads.

Depends. A lot of people just want it to be organized, easy Copy of their favorite memes. Many people will want to upload large videos and podcasts. I wanted to give plenty of space for all of that, people don’t need to max it out.
Agree an SSH, API with apps, would be awesome, it’s all coming. Appreciate the feedback.
No offense intended btw. If nostr devs were serious about censorship they'd prioritize the ability to link from a hidden service.
In my vision, you should be able to choose any kind of upload server, including your own. In my case I am not a dev by trade, so I have to keep it simple. I currently see my service as an entry level, easy, basic service for the majority of users. Would love to evolve the platform past that, but will take time. Give me a break, I just started this 2 months ago 😂😂
