In the last year of the Mandate of Palestine, under British supervision, 6.8% of Palestine had Jewish owners, ~40% Christian, and the balance Muslim.
Israel has now seized more than 91%. That isn't something that was possible or permitted in Ottoman times. Or British.

The origins of current conflict is 1930s Zionist plan to conquer Palestine and NAKBA. That is modern era and we should focus on that and not dilute it by the endless going back to ancient history.
