I don't really care as long as the trash ends up at the landfill and not in the ocean or in nature somewhere. I still recycle if it's convenient, except most plastics.

If you get paid to recycle, like aluminum, there's nothing bullshit about it. If it requires taxing everyone to make it work, like most recycling, it's bullshit.
