My background is in tradfi payments and I’ve been blowing the minds of my network with the Bitcoin Jungle project. We’re doing cross border digital payments with no counterparty risk & instant settlement on an open network that isn’t controlled by a single entity. You should talk with them about it, Derek!
Aside from the fee savings argument (they can lower cost to their merchants while retaining/increasing profit), my biggest selling point is that with LN they can own the entire experience. They don’t need to rely on the multiple layers of companies to offer a payments solution. If they can dream up a payments UX, they can build it, easily.
I believe in it more since I started sending sats to anyone around world without any third party participation⚡️🫡
Is the mention of BTC 'a no-go' area and if not, are you viewed as a regular fella or are weirdos et al still associated with bitcoin?
