what's the work of these apps?

Right now the store has Bitcoin and Nostr apps, but I could see this growing into something similar to F-Droid, but with no central entity.

SimpleX Chat is on there already.

I see that. Probably other apps exist. Discovery isn't there yet.

Is there any way to verify legitimacy of the apps. If so, how?

I don't get zap. Store what is it

This is an app store that is built on nostr.

Niiice. That landing page could use some wrapping on the code elements. Mobile is slightly πŸ™.

This looks really cool. What's the source of the apks? Are they submitted to the store by the devs or are they pulled from GH?

I have 51 apps I use in Obtainium. How do I tie my obtainium list into this?

You can use zap.store and Obtainium interchangeably. Should work for most apps.

I guess ideally what I want is for zap.store to take the whole obtainium config file exported, and store it in some sort of formatted nostr note broadcasted and signed by my profile. Then I would like zap.store to work like obtainium, but on any phone that has my npub logged into it, and have the option to choose to publicly share my list so my Nostr friends can see what I'm running.

Is this similar to your plan?

That has been my idea for a long time, so definitely planned, both private and public lists.

Once we have the spec/NIPs fully fleshed out would you be interested in building a small tool to convert the Obtainium file into nostr events?

It's going to be cool when the store has games and apps where you can buy with bitcoin.
