Making Coffee - the basic fundamentals:

1. Choose a device. Aeropress, V60, French Press, Auto-Filter Brewer, Espresso Machine.

2. Get a grinder. Even a cheap hand-grinder will be better than buying ground coffee. Make sure it's a burr grinder and not those with blades.

3. Buy fresh roasted coffee BEAN, not ground. (Roasted not longer than 2 months)

Freshly ground and freshly brewed coffee is the way to go.

While sipping your lovely cup of coffee, stay humble and stack sats.

I used an Aeropress for a while. I find myself just using my Kuerig. Dark roast is pretty good, imo. I am probably missing out on quality at some level, but I’m a sucker for the convenience.

I wasn’t grinding fresh beans though - just buying ground. Maybe that’s why I didn’t notice a huge difference in quality.

Fresh grinding beans is a must as the most basic steps to good coffee. Nowadays, a decent hand grinder cost around 200k sats. Would take less than 45 seconds to grind 15g of coffee for a single portion.
