Yea the waiting antenna picks up the remotes signal from inside the house and strengthens it to the point that the car thinks the remotes inside then they push the push to start button and boom

Well to steal the car yea but they probably didn’t get very far once they drive off eventually the car will realize the remote isn’t actually in there and shut down after driving so many feet but they might have a tow truck or something down the block and they could just hitch it and drive off with it that way who knows
