oh , i didn't realize this was from tarot. ive had pics turned off for a while. i thought it was just a list of personality types from psychology
yeah, i'm not sure about the selection of the trumps being used, because there is 22 of them in total but some of them are indeed clearly abstract and not representative of a personality. like The Fool (trump 0) which everyone is, or will be, if they step on the path.
the 22 trumps represent phases in a spiritual journey, primarily, and there is even a whole story that gypsy fortunetellers memorize, that i had one dude recite to me, took about half an hour, pretty impressive, and then he talked through the meaning of every minor arcana after that.

the only thing that really stuck was the ace of swords, aka "ace of spades", which is the only form of intellect that is not a highway to hell. in the Osho Tarot this is represented as the state of meditation or zazen or whatever words there is for that, unfiltered awareness. all of the rest of the swords suit are tragedy stories.
