Yeah it was supposed to be a simple somersault sento, buuuuut this being Crazy SKB that wasn't crazy enough so he had his ring gear filled with firecrackers.
The Japanese death match scene was so much fun back in the day. They used to do legit retarded shit. Back in the day FMW almost killed The Sheik and his real life nephew Sabu in a burning barbwire death match. The gimmick is that they replaced the ropes on the ring with barbwire and then wrapped the barbwire in gasoline soaked rags. When the match started they set the barbwire on fire. Everything was going okay except some of the gas had dripped off of the barbwire prior to the match starting. This caused the ring to catch on fire. The Sheik ended up having to go to the hospital for smoke inhalation and 3rd degree burns.
