It doesn’t matter how much Middle Eastern oil the United States buys. What matters is that the Middle East is heading toward a deeper crisis-one that will cast its shadow over every oil-producing country. This war is only the beginning of a far greater conflict that will, sooner or later, consume people everywhere.
