Orthodox Jewish passengers were violently assaulted and threatened on a crowded New York City subway train after being deliberately targeted by a group of attackers, according to a firsthand account.

Oil tankers are really hard to stop if you don't have anti-ship missiles. In 2002 the French tanker MV Limburg was hit by a suicide boat in the Red sea, and after some repairs was able to resume its operations. IIRC it continued to be used- under the name of Maritime Jewel up until 2018.
