I was in Montenegro once, for a few seconds. I hiked up to the border from Albania. No fences, no guards. Just walked over to the other side. (Unpopular opinion, but I think all borders should be like that.) Anyway, it’s a beautiful region with lovely people.

I spend half the year in Bosnia. Next time I go I will try to go to Montenegro. Is it true it is a cheaper Croatia?
