I had a frustrating day today. A neighbor's three dogs came in my barn and killed 8 out of 9 seven-week old pullets and 6 out of 13 mature hens. It was pretty gruesome. I went and talked to their house sitter and she half heartedly apologized. I left a note with my information, hopefully the owner does the right thing and compensates me for my birds. I will have to keep the rest of the flock locked up until their house sells and they gtfo.
