Hello. What type of IoT stuff are/were you into? I worked as an IoT consultant for a couple of years doing mostly LoRa based stuff.

How did you find out about Nostr?

I’ve been into IoT projects involving smart automation and edge AI, like integrating sensors with local processing (using Arduino, Coral AI, ESP32s, and Raspberry Pi). I’ve also explored blockchain-based authentication for IoT devices and some smart home integrations.

As for Nostr, I actually came across it through researching on Bitcoin and Lightning, LND, LNbits — I was curious about decentralized social and data protocols. I would love to explore on T-Deck Meshtastic. What kind of LoRa projects did you work on?

There are some people working on IoT related Nostr stuff. There are also a bunch of #meshtastic people on Nostr.

I never got to do any outdoor deployments, but i have done outdoor radio network field tests and planning.

For the most part it was deploying sensornetworks ranging from couple hundred to thousands of sensors inside large office buildings. And i designed a mold prediction sensor that unfortunatly we never ended up developing.

But these days i dont do all to much with that kind of stuff and am focussed on Nostr as such.

Cool you came across Nostr (and bitcoin for that matter). Hope you will find your way and interesting people.
