At this point, if a rebuttal says something like, "person X claims such and such, but eye witness Z claims other thing, and researcher Y says this thing", I take it as unsettled.

But when shady Wikipedia editors say, "debunked conspiracy theory" and nothing more than that, I assume its more likely that there is something true in there.
