There is no doubt I feel worse in the fall / winter months living so far north.

Sunset is before 5 pm and it’s constantly overcast. The physiological reality is humans are not suppose to live so far north.

For optimal health and hormone function humans shouldn’t live north of the 37th parallel.

yep. Cant imagine how brutal the winters would be. We need sunlight

Where I’m at there really isn’t a winter in the classic sense. It rains 75% of the time from November - April. Probably 90%+ of that window is overcast. It’s wet almost all the time and average temperature is around 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

To me, it just sucks. Would prefer a couple months of snow to break things up. We get 1 snow event per year on average but some years none.

I want to move somewhere much sunnier, south of the 37th parallel that gets snow every winter bc snow sports are fun. But who knows, a future in the US doesn’t seem promising. Maybe I’ll become a full time southern hemisphere guy.
