I feel similarly. I am absolutely conflicted. However, what I consider positive is that Maduro was not simply murdered and will be brought to justice. Nevertheless, I find the constant violations of international law troubling. If the goal were to bring freedom to people….in reality, it's about economic interests for the benefit of the few.

The Venezuelans can do their own throat slitting and government toppling
Don’t steal my money to pay for this shit
That's how I feel. I dislike Maduro, but also think sprinkling cocaine in his house is a lame reason for violating international laws. I'm also not sure what the unintended consequences will be. Hopefully peace, but I'm not holding my breath.
Brought to justice? He will be pardoned within 12 months of that indictment cause he's gonna spill whatever beans they want him too.
These types of people are very rarely 'brought' to justice.
Don’t think there really is a such thing as “international law” except insofar it’s used against powerless countries to punish them.
There is no God except through recognition.
Justice is a constructed, agreed-upon concept.
The ICC should be the primary institution responsible for prosecuting international crimes, not individual states like the US.
but those institutions are no longer credible
Since when?
No idea maybe they were never credible.
Only when it came to arrest warrants for Putin but when Nethyhahoo was flagged for arrest, suddenly it became "not credible" and "we don't recognise it"
Where can I find this law written down ?
The International Court of Justice defines this legal basis precisely in its Statute, Article 38.
