Life has a way of naturally teaching these things if you keep your kids close. I’ve been working on both of my vehicles this past week and they are always quick to grab me a wrench or help in some way (when they aren’t playing). They learn mostly by watching us troubleshoot issues, and talking through my thought process with them has helped them learn

We do outsource for jiu jitsu and a forest school that teaches survival skills a few days a week. But I bring them along for working with clients sometimes and they come work the farmers market with me every weekend. Just the reps of seeing how we engage people has made a big difference for them, along w asking how they can be helpful and bring value to the table
