"Deeply frightening"
Mark Changizi reported about the “deeply frightening” Rasmussen 2022 poll results supporting harsh measures against the unvaccinated. The poll found that President Biden’s strongest supporters were the most likely to endorse the harshest punishments against those who didn’t get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Fine the unvaccinated:
55% of Democrats support fining the unvaccinated (compared to just 19% of Republicans).
Banish them:
59% of Democrats support confining the unvaccinated to their homes at all times, except for emergencies. (Opposed by 79% of Republicans.)
Send them to concentration camps:
45% of Democrats support sending the unvaccinated to government camps. (Opposed by 78% of Republicans.)
Track them:
47% of Democrats support using digital devices to track unvaccinated people to ensure that they are quarantined or socially distancing from others.
Take their children:
29% of Democratic support temporarily removing unvaccinated parents’ custody of their children. (Compared to 7% of Republicans.)
Fine/imprison counter voices:
48% of Democrats support fining or imprisoning individuals who publicly question the efficacy of the existing COVID-19 vaccines on social media, television, radio, or in online or digital publications. (Only 14% of Republicans favor criminal punishment of vaccine critics.)
