Digital radio is still radio. The best antenna to use is the one you have. If its through a phone WiFi antenna connected to a packet network with a long haul connect to an ISP, then its still radio somewhere in there, and there's still an antenna involved. Just get on the air and make it better when you can and its fun.

I often use echolink when traveling so I can check in to my local weekly NET. In the end, it should be fun, not a chore.
