Digital radio is still radio. The best antenna to use is the one you have. If its through a phone WiFi antenna connected to a packet network with a long haul connect to an ISP, then its still radio somewhere in there, and there's still an antenna involved. Just get on the air and make it better when you can and its fun.
I often use echolink when traveling so I can check in to my local weekly NET. In the end, it should be fun, not a chore.

So... There is not enough clearance under the rear seat for the battery I got... There is if I take out the sound dampening batting, but then the seat sits on the battery (I suspect you would feel it when going over a bump). So I have changed tactics, and it actually saves me some storage space.
The battery will go behind the rear seat (there seams to be just enough clearance). I just have to remove the rear seat to access it. This also places it nearer to the dc-dc charger which is good.
Finally got the antenna installed today on the Tundra. I'm installing a radioditty DB-50b (I like it mostly for having such a small footprint).
I'm installing a secondary 100Ah lifepo4 battery under the rear seat (after removing foam and installing winco steam pans).
A renogy dc-dc charger will keep the battery topped off. The radio will run off the lifepo4 battery with plans for future expansion and running power into the truck bed for running the portable fridge and portable radios for HF

Picked up all the leaves in the front and back yard between yesterday and today. A windy storm is on the way, so getting them picked up is important before they cause more problems. 8 40gal trash bags of leaves.
My Toro leaf blower/vac has done an excellent job. It is over 15 years old, and just keeps going every year. The strap broke on the leaf bag this year, so I tied it in a knot, but I'll have to get a new one before next year.

Windows has a big job to do, and it takes a lot of compute.
First it has to keep itself updated in the background, which requires it to reach out to Microsoft activating the WiFi chip repeatedly.
Then it needs to pop up things on the users screen to take away focus from whatever you are actually trying to do.
Next it needs to scan every file as you open it to make sure its not virus (or hasn't been exempted from scan by a virus).
It also needs to dig through all your files to upload them to the cloud.
It needs to watch each keystroke to collect words for relevant advertising popups (everyone likes relevant advertising, right?)
It needs to take repeated screenshots in case someone at Microsoft needs to dig through your use history and figure out what's going on.
AI needs to see what's running so it can build a list of things to sell you next and also to know what to tell the NSA about you (its about keeping you safe, you know, and everyone wants to be safe).
Obviously, its very busy. Should give windows a break, it deserves all that compute so it can accomplish its job of selling you, as the product.

Well, I'm printing this using PETG which is a but more finnicky. I recommend you start with a small printer and PLA. See if you like it first and how far down the rabbit hole you want to go.
There's some generallygoodd small 3d printers out there with minimal fuss. I got started on a Wiifun Tina2 (that thing is sold under many names).
Printing other peoples models is pretty easy if you use a good slicer. I use Cura. It gets more advanced if you want to start using more heat or sun resistant plastics or other materials. Also more advanced is making your own models. My first custom print was parts on my Tina2 to repair my larger 3d printer, but they dont make it anymore and I dont recommend it.
There's a spectrum there. Best to go in easy and find some utility, then decide if its worthwhile to invest more time and fiat.
Because that's where it starts. Once there is a facility for creating more bitcoin, someone will eventually find a way to control it, and then provide seemingly good reasons to make more.... War, theft, recessions, fixing a paper bitcoin seller before they bankrupt, etc.
Its also a math thing. The algorithm is limited to the designated amount.
There is also certainty with how much bitcoin will ever exist, which makes it much easier to determine its worth.
