You can measure the price of a currency in bread or in screws... How much bread can you get for 15 SATs? I think that's where it eventually goes. The market determines that amount based on the availability of Bitcoin and the availability of bread. A cheaper bread from another supplier drives prices down. A more expensive bread might be purchased because it is more healthy and therefore more valuable. You can measure it in steak or in gold. Its all by the market dynamics.

From my perspective, even if this OP_RETURN issue isnt as big of a deal (either way) that people are making it out to be... more implementations means more safety from big sweeping changes on the network and protocol level.

I'm pro Knots, not necessarily because of OP_RETURN, but because I think its good for everyone to know that they can't control bitcoin. There must be consensus. For the software, for the protocol, for network as a whole.

Good on you. I am not a fan at all of the so-called UHF connector. TBH I think its a horrible connector for UHF(perhaps OK for HF), it has non-constant impedance, no water protection, is difficult to solder, and probably is of minimal benefit except in high power situations and even that I'm not sure... Ive also more than once had to troubleshoot quite a bit to find it just wasnt screwed on all the way or one of the teeth got stuck so it didnt go in all the way, this even when working with other people for field day and such.

Obviously I have an Axe to grind, but I've moved mostly to BNC at this point.

Some stands have screwholes and some dont. I had one come with screwholes but no screws, but I found some that fit and its been fine.
