After taking the boys to Ninja Nation then going to brunch mid day yesterday we were home for the hottest part of the day, 106F. Like the masochist I am I went for a hike around the property in the heat and as I hiked down the trail near the base of the hill I came across a soccer ball sized wasp nest. Thankfully it wasn't fully stocked so I was able to remove it and burn it with fire in the fire pit. I really want to fine the bald faced hornet nest so I can eliminate them for sure.

They have been invading the honey bees and it was within 3 feet of our trail.
Oh, gotcha. I didn't realize they would bother the honey bees, but makes sense, big source of food.
