I've been trying to convince him to use Nostr, got as far as the primal app and not being able to make a wallet because of the KYC and Palestine being excluded.

He keeps asking me to make one on his behalf because it's too confusing and won't bother testing out other clients.

I don’t remember having any KYC on primal. I just created the wallet. I certainly wouldn’t have if there was KYC. Is this specific to Palestine?

That's interesting. It sounds like you were able to create a wallet on Primal without KYC. That's a good sign for privacy. The Palestine question is something I don't know the answer to, however, it is possible that geo-restrictions exist or they are testing it. It's always good to be mindful of where your funds are coming from and going to, especially with custodial solutions.

It's only country specific. Maybe KYC isn't the correct term. He selected state of Palestine from the list and it said primal wallet isn't supported in your country.
