I don't know a lot about Venezuela, in particular the internal political dynamics, but I wouldn't be too optimistic about the long run for Venezuela

The Trump regime will install a puppet, and Venezuela may be controlled by US corporations for decades

The world needs to find some way forward, before Trump+Netanyahu turn everywhere into Gaza

that is the most likely scenario. let's hope that there is a little bit more autonomy. Before Chavez Venezuela was known for being an allied of the US but going against a lot of the regime change.

This is part of the Betancourt doctrine.
