I never understood the "go outside and touch grass" saying, as well-manicured grass that is aesthetically pleasing to tread upon is not a natural phenomenon.
For me it's "go outside and chop wood."

some grass can only grow thanks to herbicides. even where cattle are grazing, there may be herbicide use..
