Just talking about this to young chap who fixes computers and things and suggested as sideline business. Figured biggest cost is the drive but maybe that’s cause I only ran full nodes. Assume this is cheapest pruned correct?

exactly! also hdd doesn't really cost much these days either.

Yeah if trying to get a few people in Costa Rica to consider it and also learn, need to make it bare bones cheap. I was also wondering if could get local artisans to make some really nice crafted hardwood cases and do something a little tico pura vida. Once have finished moving house and am a little more settled, may see if there’s potential. So in your opinion, no need to go full SSD? Sorry for dumb questions but I am not technical at all. Wanted my own nodes to support network and went easy option. One start9 out of the box and a Linux Ubuntu easy set up with Umbrel. I literally just run them both to add to the network and do my personal as I simply don’t have time to dig into the weeds
