I found it does not reliably connect without a static IP. Solution: LNC + Tailscale

Interesting. In that case there would be no real benefit to using LNC than my previous setup since the goal is to eliminate the need to keep Tailscale connected.
My IP ain’t static — and I haven’t had any major reliability issues so far
