A service/shop that cleanly removes screens and telemetry from new cars so they're no longer reliant on software would be great.

I wonder if this would have to be more "underground" as to not get in trouble by regulators.

Was thinking the same - or extra aboveground, but that would take a lot of time and lobbying for the right to do so.

This sounds like something that would void insurance coverage & or warranties. One accident could bankrupt either party.

If some choose to do this they could potentially be sued for damages or even manslaughter.

Not saying it’s morally right or wrong: only that it’s a consideration that should be made.

Yeah this has been something I have thought a lot about. I think I've decided to become a vintage car collector/restorer. Even the tire valves have Bluetooth sensors in them broadcasting nonstoo.....oooophfff.
