I have a problem with him only in so far as the mantra "don't give your side power you wouldn't want the other side to wield" and his grip on the checks and balances makes me nervous.
But so far, that is only caution. I have not seen anything to justify the "dictator" insult.

Pretty sure this is a bad take, there are innocent people trapped by this decision. Call it collateral damage, whatever, but these are not non-people, even the criminals might do with some investment into reform.
