We want that also, but it is a lot of work having to build the API and a unique integration for each client..

I find it's not a huge deal switching between chrome and amethyst. Some files you actually have to upload directly to nostr.build and then paste the link into amethyst. If you try to upload a GIF through amethyst you'll end up with a still image and not an animated one.
