I remember reading an article about some old woman who basically sold up and was going to spend the rest of her days cruising. 24/7 staff you get to know, great medical facilities, mental and physical stimulation, social life. Sounds better than a lot of old guys have it if I’m honest

That may have been one of the interviewed folks here too. Some people sell their land based home, others keep it.

If you are lonely and have no family left, why not? Sounds better than life in an old people’s home (at least the ones I’ve seen. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone)
