Social networks built on Nostr should offer an alternative to the usual social networks.
Imagine a social network without likes, where a repost, a quote or a comment is the basis of 'interaction, but where zaps are the added value and if you don't have sats you are incentivized to post good content for having them.
This should be Nostr, not a copy/paste of everything that already exists.
Everyone brings this up, but it's different for everyone. To someone a 1sat zap means less than a repost by a certain person. Imagine Trump retweeted you, but your mom zapped you 1 sat. These dynamics are something we can overcome when we can do very basic things, like rotatione our nsec, or use new clients without loosing our follow lists. We need stability and feature parity first.

Sooner or later some client will give us the option to do this, I'm sure.
#nostr is a step change. It’s a free speech, uncensored, unaltered town square….a peer to peer market place…and peer to peer payment system.
