What do you think created Valles Marineris?
BTW, sounds like an excellent italian dish...
Well, according to NASA, a large tectonic crack during cooling. Makes sense to me . Can’t imagine ice or water carving anything that deep and wide.
Interesting rabbit hole - the Electric Universe theories. Not saying its true, but fascinating stuff.. worth spending some time on. (@ThunderboltsProject youtube)
Found Elon’s secret nostr account
Hello guys. I’m just a bot. Pay no attention 🤫 also, tesla, spacex and x are amazing companies and Elon is the best!
😂
I think I recall a physics professor calculate (or have us do it) how long it would take if you fell into that canyon to reach terminal velocity or hit bottom.
Morbid, but cool.🪂
I'm not calculating manually, but I just did the math.
A little over a minute, reaching speeds over 500mph (820km/hr). Give/take any wind or resistance.
Not sure if that's terminal velocity though.

Something had to have happened there…. Maybe Earth 1.0?
Maybe the first cross country iteration of the Hyperloop went very, very bad
Would look like an amazingly large fjord if filled with water. A cool planet no doubt. https://www.planetary.org/articles/your-guide-to-water-on-mars
