there's two play structures at this park. one for big kids and one for little kids.

I don't understand why this dad insists on playing on the little kids structure with his elementary and pre-teen kids ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ the dad is climbing all over the structure as well. They're playing some kind of tag parkour game.

Do I have my panties in a bunch or are they inconsiderate?

Bunched panties

Well, as long as they're not being a hazard to the toddlers..๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ But I understand you and wish for them to fuck off where they really belong๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜†

yeah, they were being pretty dangerous around the toddlers.

it's a free country but I still think they're being assholes.

I can see why you are irritated, because your kids have less space to play. Not like they can go on the other structure. Whereas the dad could go play with his big kids on the big kid playground.

But I do think it is sweet he is actually playing with them. Maybe they'll migrate over if they relize there are more little kids around. I would just focus on making sure my kids get their turn on whatever it is they feel like playing on.

they never moved over before we left.

another dad came with his big kids and when he noticed how hard the other big kids were playing on the littles, he audibly said outloud "hey kids, let's move and let the little kids play here."

I appreciated that.

Dang. Can't take a hint... Sorry they were hogging the structure. ๐Ÿ˜ฃ

I probably would have purposefully stood in the way because I'm low key petty.

Also, I noticed in your other comment that they were being a hazard to the little kids. That would have royally pissed me off. You didn't mention that in your main comment, so I assumed they were keeping to themselves. That is no bueno.

I can understand them playing like that if there was no one else around but itโ€™s inconsiderate of them to continue doing this when there are little kids present that want to play on the little kiddie structure.

exactly! okay, so I'm not alone in my thinking.

I would be annoyed. I was at the park a couple of weeks ago and teens and their parents where playing with the baby swing. And we waited for-for-e-ver for a turn. And they knew we were waiting because I asked if we could have a turn next.... Then one of the teens got stuck in the swing. It took too grown men to turn the teenager upside down in the swing to get him out. It was like a hour ordeal. I was annoyed. But now, it's kinda funny.

oh that sucks! it's like they don't look around to see who they're sharing a space with.

this same dad and his kids were using the bucket swing as a basketball hoop. actually now that I think about it, only the dad shot the ball into the swing. so bizarre. there's a perfectly good basketball court right next to us!
