I started playing final fantasy 7 for the first time recently. The original not the remake. Pretty good but the graphics did not age well.

The remake isn’t even the full game. Crazy how long the original game is on ps1.

I'm still in mild shock from this news. At least the Spyro remake was the whole game series 😤

Graphics are stellar in the remake though. Maybe it takes time to redo? Original game was on 3 discs

Yeah, it's a fair point. You're essentially making a whole new game on more complex hardware. It just happens to have the same storyline.

PS2 era was the best for gaming. PS3 era was peak of online gaming.

I played the original back then. I played the first part of the remake on xbox. Real fun
