i wonder if chaum also understands that it only works for bitcoin and everywhere else the economic incentives are broken (it's the zero to one hypothesis like knut svanholm talks about)

He didn’t invent it, correct. But he does allude to inventing it (hence C asking why he had to think so deeply about it) and doesn’t correct people about him not being the inventor of it.
