We have the truest definition of Open Source in BTC.

To avoid confusion, just look at Satoshi & the release of BTC. That’s open source.

If Blockstream and Foundation can make for-profit, open source products, why can't Coldcard?

Answer: they can but they'd rather folks think of them as aligned with #Bitcoin's open source ethos while levying restrictions on their own source code.

My understanding is foundation copied the coldcard source code, and received VC funding. This made coldcard change the license.
