Oh and salt your meat

salt loves meat and meat loves salt.......some Aussie guy said that on TV and I never forget it.

I salt the them twice, once as soon as I get them, second just before cooking. Got that tip from a Netflix series called heat, salt, acid

Pepper is life!! Enjoy your steak! 🥩

Thank you, these ones are “night steaks” or #pocketsteaks one for now, one for the kids lunch, one for the wifes lunch.

Looks great!! Way to plan ahead! The meal for champions!

Thank you. I do the kids lunches every morning, as my wife & I have found our lanes. they get beef 2-3 times a week. Plus raw vegetables and then processed crap as a dessert.

Fantastic! I’m sure your wife appreciates the help! Beef 2-3 times a week in their lunches is awesome. A great way to set them up for success at they get older. When I would make the lunches for my niece and nephew I would also do protein with veggies and berries and then add the “‘Make Good” brand prepackaged snacks. I would always encourage them to eat the food that needs to be refridgerated first.

…. Refrigerated…. That's a good idea

Thank you!! They like to scan the food at the grocery store for me and they are always paying close attention to the total so I’ve gently reminded them that it’s important to eat the food that needs to be kept cool first to not waste food or “money” and because it’s what should always be consumed first since it’s the most nourishing for their growing bodies. I also remind them of what to eat and what to avoid when they want to win a sport competition at school and that seems to really stick in their minds!

I haven't had pepper in a coons age

Just salt on your steaks then?

Yeah, I do like pepper but don't buy it, our body needs salt, pepper is a luxury good

Iv used pepper since 2009. Land of abundance.

Final result?

I’m hopeless at steak in a pan and am looking for tips to improve. Tried Gordon Ramsay’s tute but failed at that…

High heat to sear both sides, then add butter. And reduce temp to medium high. Use a meat thermometer and try not to flip them to often. When the butter goes in sage & garlic can too. I have also put onion in.

Hi dan ✌️🤟🏴‍☠️ Great suggestion. Burning pan and toasted pepper 👌
