I’ve listened to a lot of podcasts here but I never get sats 😕
I’ve never used fountain.fm yet, but I’m going to 💜
I switched to Podverse solely for being open source. Fountain is sleeker but Podverse is more than enough for my needs 🤙
I heard sometimes ppl get blocked because of ip adress. Try using it with another ip for a few days. Maybe only mobile or only wifi.
Not working for everyone. I'm using fountain regularly from their beginning but I'm not getting even close as you are getting. Right now I'm 20min in and got 40 sats.
This amount you are getting is because they've teamed up with choice app and till 18/4 they have this promotion to double your usual sat rewards.
EU residents are left out with this promotion unfortunately.
I have used Overcast for nearly a decade. I would love to use Fountain, but Overcast has a special feature that removes pauses and allows you to listen to podcasts at a much faster rate. Faster than just speed improvements alone. From the app, “Smart Speed has saved you an extra 280 hours beyond speed adjustments alone.” Until there is something similar from other podcast apps, I’m not going to be able to switch.
